Breeding conditions:

Lemming numbers were average, Arctic Foxes not met, surveyed dens were uninhabited. Buzzards were abundant breeders, solitary Snowy Owls were observed. Skuas were frequently met, but only Long-tailed was breeding. On breeding found Red and Red-necked Phalaropes, Ruffs, Dunlins, Temmink's Stints, Long-billed Dowitchers, Grey and Pacific Golden Plovers.
